Welcome to my tableware gallery.  After spending years making tiles, I decided to make things a little less flat and create a few platters for myself.  Little by little the line has expanded and more techniques are finding their way into the creation of new work.  Designs related to trees, the symbol of my studio, were first but have been followed in short order by fish and other natural motifs.  Some items, such as leaf plates and related platters are seasonal in as much as I can only make them during a short period of time in the fall.  Others, such as bowls and utensil caddies were either made in response to a client request or because I did not have a nice place to keep my really nice spoons and spatulas.

Who knows what I will make next?  To be honest, part of the fun of running your own studio is making things up on the fly.  With these pieces providing a point of departure, I am always thinking.
